Software design
and development
The Software Design and Development area consists of a team that has developed numerous advanced and innovative IT solutions to the benefit of institutional bodies and private entities over the years.
By offering tailor-made solutions and advanced IT skills, the IT area develops decision support systems (DSS), engineers open-source solutions with an agile and multiplatform approach, implements WebGIS for the delivery of geo-referenced services (thematic maps), and specialized software solutions in the environment and energy themes.
Governance and energy-environmental models
The Governance and Energy-Environmental Modeling area deals with the estimation of environmental and energy impacts of human activities, supporting decision-makers in companies and public institutions in the definition of policies to reduce, mitigate, and compensate for pollution and in the path to greater energy efficiency, through the modeling approach.
Research and Development
The Research & Development area invests in innovation and technological development and has more than 15 successful regional, national and international tenders to its credit, as coordinator and/or partner.
It can also rely on a well-established network that is very wide and varied (from research centers, universities, SMEs and large companies) and particularly suited to forming competent and effective partnerships.
