Urban-scale modelling

UTAQ Model

Urban-scale modeling is used for assessing the exposure to air pollutants of the resident population, for epidemiological studies, or for evaluating the impact of traffic scenarios in urban mobility plans. TerrAria, for ATS Milano and ATS ValPadana, developed UTAQ, a high-resolution urban-scale air quality model, to assess the exposure to pollutants of the resident population in the provinces of Milan, Lodi and Cremona. UTAQ has also been used for the evaluation of traffic scenarios in the Sustainable Mobility Urban Plan of the Metropolitan City of Turin and for the Sustainable Logistics Urban Plan of the Metropolitan City of Florence.
