Lombardy information system for environmental impact assessment
The TerrAria team is developing and updating with ARIA S.p.A. a number of Lombardy Region viewers, including SILVIA (Sistema Informativo Lombardo per la Valutazione di Impatto Ambientale) and Soil Defense Works.
The WebGIS SILVIA is a geographic viewer that allows the navigation, querying, selection and printing of continuously updated cartographic data of the Lombardy Information System for Environmental Impact Assessment, as well as the introduction and modification of new geometries related to a specific procedure of the Information System, responding in fact to the need for continuous updating of it. The procedures referred to are EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) and Verification of Subjectivity procedures carried out in the Lombardy Region.
TerrAria contributed in the realization and development of the viewer, which consists of a basic interface for displaying the published maps and additional functionality through graphical components called widgets.
