Environmental Decision Support System

Environmental Decision Support System (EDSS), was created from the pilot project LIFE TTGG – “The Tough Get Going,” which focused on the efficiency of production processes in the production chains of 2 PDO cheeses in Europe and the reduction of their environmental impact. 

To date, the system has evolved and is able to dynamically manage even very different contexts, allowing them to be reduced in terms of environmental footprint and thus achieve more sustainable production and consumption.
  The product developed by TerrAria is able to give a cross-cutting view of the various utilities involved in data collection. The main features of SSDA are summarized below: 

1. 1. The supply chain consortium can view the progress of all stages of production through special tool; 
   2. Management of companies and related factories with different production stages; 
   3. The user completes the evaluation of their production stage, linking it to the supply chain, taking data from the previous stage and providing their own data to the next one; 
   4. Process of validation and certification of assessments. 

Currently the product has been verticalized on 3 supply chains (ASIAGO, PROSCIUTTO PARMA, GRANA PADANO) each of which has different processing stages.
All integrated with reporting for monitoring by the consortium.
