The register of thermal plants – Lombardy Region
TerrAria deals with the application and evolutionary management of the register of thermal plants (Catasto Impianti Termici – Lombardia, CURIT), and its developments. CURIT is a database established by the Lombardy Region in 2008 to collect and manage data on all thermal plants in the region. It allows real-time monitoring of the evolution of the regional thermal plant fleet, serving residential and tertiary buildings, both in terms of consistency and energy and environmental performance.
CURIT monitors the regularity of maintenance and verification operations thanks to the work of more than 16,000 professionals and the cooperation of 33 Local Authorities, including Provinces and Municipalities. The areas of contractual intervention envisioned by TerrAria’s involvement will focus on revising CURIT’s interfaces, adjusting the database, and migrating the software infrastructure currently in use. Thus, greater uniformity in the use of graphic layouts in compliance with usability and accessibility requirements and the enhancement and optimization of database functionality will be ensured. Adjustments are also planned on the current Plant Booklet, so as to maintain alignment with regulatory devices, and a series of reporting tools aimed at generating summary reports regarding both maintenance and inspection activities.
The main purpose of CURIT is to aggregate and make available in one place all the information that the inspection and maintenance activities of thermal plants generate.
